Dear Ones,
Happy New Year and many blessings for 2024. Afterlife communication can be part of our New Year’s Resolution, to be open to spirit and their guidance in making our best life possible in the new year. It has been a while since my last Messages from Heaven blog. Perhaps you can relate that 2023 was a year of busy-ness and organized chaos- a closing out of some chapters in life. Yet this morning had a wonderful energy of purity, freshness, and new beginnings, punctuated by fresh snowfall on the ground. The last days of 2023 were cloudy, dreary, and rainy.
I awoke this morning remembering that today, January 1, was my grandmother’s birthday. I realized she would have been 120 years old. I felt at peace with this, she died when I was only becoming a woman at 18 years old, in my last year of high school. My memories of her provided a positive ancestral model of strength and hard work. Coming from Romania as a young woman and starting a family of her own, she worked hard through I wouldn’t doubt were trials and tribulations in her life. She had four children, my mother the youngest. She was a working mom, cleaning homes from Toronto’s upper class. She saved and manifested to meet her family needs, was a wonderful gardener, cook, and baker. Her recipes were memorable and passed down to our family.
My grandmother was intuitive. She was also a devout Catholic, even walking to church every weekend in her old age. Her dining room adorned pictures of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary, and of course, the classic Last Supper.
Undoubtedly, she used her intuition to navigate through life and her experiences, even playing winning numbers in the lottery and having fun with it. When my grandfather, her husband, died when I was five, and this led to what was the first mystical afterlife experience I had heard of as a little girl. My grandmother had seen her late husband in their home. I wrote about this is my ebook, 21 Signs from Loved Ones in the Afterlife, available as a FREE download on my website, jenniferangelee.com.
My grandmother’s afterlife presence was the first I remember experiencing. Her presence in my life became even more pronounced when my youngest child, now 17 years old, was born. When my youngest, also a clairvoyant, began to speak, she communicated information that my grandmother was with her. Soon I was told, when consulting with another Medium that my grandmother was a spirit guide to my daughter.
This may seem woo-woo to some, but truly our lives were pretty “normal” both growing up, and when raising my own family. I believe that others have these experiences too – we just don’t talk about them. Society and even religion has taught us to keep these experiences to ourselves, where these experiences of the paranormal in the afterlife can bring great comfort to the bereaved. Often the grieving visit a Medium to make sense of their afterlife communication and visits. These experiences can provide profound healing, knowing that the deceased loved ones are still with them, guiding, and loving them.
Indigenous cultures have especially included their ancestors and their importance in their spiritual beliefs. It is unfortunate that our Western culture has minimized and dismissed the ancestors in our lives. Our DNA is coded with the linage of our ancestors. Let us honour and appreciate this as we move forward into a blessed new year.
How about you? I’d love to hear your stories and experiences of Afterlife Communication. Have you felt the energy of your loving ancestors or loved ones in heaven? How has this been healing for you? Click here to reply in my Blog.
Wishing you all many blessings in the new year. I have lots of fresh ideas coming, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
With love & light,
Jennifer
